About Me

I am currently a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Science in Computer Science at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (Ontario Tech University). I am a member of the Visual Computing Lab associated with the Faculty of Science and my general area of research pertains to the application of deep learning in the computer vision domain.

I graduated August 2019 with a Bachelors of Engineering (Honors) in Software Engineering from Ontario Tech University, where the project my team and I developed for the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineering's 2019 Capstone Showcase received recognition by being awarded first place.

My Research

My current research interests are relatively broad, but generally revolve around the various ways that deep learning can be applied to perception.

In no specific order, some things that interest me are:

  • Deep Reinforcement Learning
  • Geometric Deep Learning (Graph Convolution Networks)
  • Human Pose Estimation
  • Action Recognition
  • Object Detection
  • Transparency & Explainability in Deep Learning (i.e. GradCam)
